The Postal Marketplace is filled with small and local businesses that are making a difference. Today, on National Wine Day, we are featuring three wine vendors who give back to the community and support our core values to leave the world a better place.
Humanity Wine, Kerr Cellars, and In Good Taste not only have top-rated wines that delight recipients, but you can feel good as the sender by investing in their missions as well.
We talked to the Founder and CEO, Mariagrazia Lauricella, who founded Humanity Wine Co. in 2020 to support her charity, Humanity Del Sol. Humanity Del Sol is working to change the lives of young people who have not been given a good head start by giving them the tools to work towards a brighter future.
She wanted to find a way to sustain and scale the charity, so she began studying the wine industry in 2014 to bring the best wine to market. “This wine company is very different from most, we have a mission that is not only about wine, but about donating 50% of our proceeds back.” No wine company in the world has given back such a significant amount of profit back to a charitable organization.
To have that competitive advantage in the market, Mariagrazia was committed to the “...quality meeting or exceeding all standards in the industry. We have level 3 sommeliers or higher, select all the wine and only partner with family-owned wineries.” The wine is sourced from all over the world and is 98% organic with prices ranging to fit all budgets. Some Postal favorites include Humanity Wine Tasting Duo, Rosé Wine Flight, and the Varietal Wine Flight.
Kerr Cellars is another female-owned business that supports more than just wine lovers. Kerr Cellars was founded in 2013 by Sommelier and professional golf star, Cristie Kerr. She is passionate about delivering the best wine possible to her customers, from soil to bottle.
Cristie is an avid philanthropist who received the prestigious Komen Award in honor of her personal contribution and commitment to the fight against breast cancer. She is committed to giving back through her events and charitable nonprofits to support women and their health.
We spoke to VP of Marketing Chaela Ciongoli who has been with the company since 2017. Her goal is to grow the brand and support the causes that they are investing in. She believes “...what makes Kerr Cellars so unique is that connection between Cristie and her brand, she works alongside all the wineries and vineyards to source the best wine possible.” When the mission is bigger than the physical product sold to consumers, you can feel good about putting your money towards Kerr Cellars.
Shope their wine on the Postal Marketplace today which includes favorites like "Taste of Napa Valley" Wine Gift Set by Kerr Cellars, Sauvignon Blanc, or Pinot Noir.
“Why is wine consumed by the glass but sold as a bottle?”
That question is asked by one of Postal’s newest vendors, In Good Taste, who has set out to revolutionize the wine industry. It’s hard for consumers to get a taste of different wines to find their perfect blend, so they created sample sized wine for their customers to get a taste of everything.
Close friends and co-founders Joe Welch and Zach Feinberg collaborated with award-winning winemakers, Matt Smith and Neely Ashley, to source wine from top winemaking regions. Their unboxing experience is unmatched, with different sample packs like their California Wine Mixer or Vine Voyage offered on the Postal Marketplace. They also offer events that you can enjoy with your team, like the Winemaker's Select Wine Tasting, where you can try Matt and Neely’s favorite wines from around the world.
In Good Taste also aligns with Postal’s core values by prioritizing sustainability in their business. Their mini glass bottles are both recyclable and up cycle-able. Their labels are easily peel-able and, with just a quick rinse with warm water and soap, these 6 oz bottles are perfect for reusing around the house or in your travels. Shop their products today to give your customers, prospects, and employees a delightful recipient experience.
We are proud to support and work with some of the best wine companies in the world, whose initiatives are giving back to society and the environment. Not to mention, the Postal Marketplace contains dozens of other vendors who offer hundreds of unique varietals from all over the world.
