Today we are excited to discuss the details about one of our favorite core values here at Postal: Leave the World a Better Place.

We hear about the importance of corporate responsibility and sustainability on a daily basis, but many companies do it just to check the box. Yet this core value is woven into our business, so our actions reflect this social and environmental responsibility. Organizations that focus on shared value (social + economic value), are bound to achieve more long-term success as opposed to those who strictly focus on economic value.

Postal has made the commitment to Pledge 1%. By doing so, we join other top companies in giving back to our community through a variety of ways, such as time, profit, equity, or our product.We've also partnered with One Tree Planted and have already purchased 1,000 trees for the Amazon Rainforest...we've even committed to planting a forest of 100,000 trees by 2025!

As a California Certified Green Business, we've implemented a number of sustainable practices in the office including composting, recycling, reducing toxins by purchasing green products, and conserving resources.By composting food and recycling resources such as paper, plastics, cardboard, glass, and aluminum, we strive for 90% waste diversion at our office space.

Lastly, we conserve resources by using 100% renewable energy through Monterey Bay Community Power and promote commuter alternatives such as biking to work and providing the option to work from home.We look forward to finding new ways to uphold sustainable practices and strive to get better everyday!
